电致发光片是将发光粉置于两个平板电极之间而构成的。其为夹层式结构, 上下各有一个电极，上电极为透明导电膜（ITO膜），光从此面射出，下电极为背电极，其材料主要为银或碳，发光材料主要是硫化锌（ZnS）,当交流电压加在两个电极上时，电场使得（ZnS）粒子产生激发式跃迁，从而在每一个充放循环中发光, 当它含有不同的激活剂时,可发出不同颜色的光。EL的亮度随电极间的电压、频率的改变而变化，一般情况下随电压及频率的增加亮度也相应增加 |
